The Art of Love and Observation

My couples have taught me about the certainty, the longing, and the love that unites two people. A wedding isn't just a materialistic performance; it's a profound, spiritual declaration. And as much as people argue that the institution of marriage is outdated, there is nothing more beautiful, nothing more truly human, than two people who love each other coming together in this way.
Being a photographer who documents love means I have to understand it. Perhaps it’s because I’ve fallen in love many times in my life that I feel slightly more qualified to diagnose when someone is truly in love. I’ve seen the art of love, appreciated its rarity, and felt what it's like to be loved as an individual. That, I think, is what makes me good at my job. My role isn't to interfere with your connection, but to simply observe it, document it, and watch the magic unfold.
The greatest thing you will ever do is to love someone and be loved in return. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return." Moulin Rouge maybe said it best. And for now, I'm okay if I just remain the photographer—the one supporting people as they find their happily ever after, waiting for my own chapter to begin.
